Maite Cuerda has recently joined Kepler-Karst as the Head of Business Development, Marketing, and Communications. In her new role, Maite will be responsible for devising and implementing the firm’s market positioning strategy, as well as crafting and executing its business development plan on both national and international levels, all in alignment with the firm’s overall strategy.

Maite brings with her 17 years of professional experience in the legal sector, having previously worked at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Freshfields). During her tenure at Freshfields, she held a position overseeing Business Development, Marketing, and Communications in Spain. She was later promoted to the Corporate/M&A BD team in Continental Europe. Maite is also a bilingual translator and interpreter in English and holds a Diploma in Strategic and Digital Marketing from the London Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Additionally, she has completed an Executive Programme in Legal Operations from ESADE Business School.
